Arizona Ballet Theatre, via its school and studios in Tucson, provides quality educational experiences in performance-oriented ballet, modern dance, jazz, tap and theater arts. The performing arts are invoked and made possible through an emphasis on strong technique and artistic-based instruction. I was a professional dancer with the Boston Ballet Company at age fourteen. Our Ballet Program is for dancers of all ages and abilities, from pre-ballet through intermediate, professional, and adult dancers. Our Pre-Ballet program with our own Megan Hurst, a certified UA graduate and TUSD Teacher, is amazingly effective. Our Adult Ballet Program features classes for beginner, intermediate, former company member, and combined. Our Modern Dance Program features Norman Walker, an American Modern Dance Icon ( and his Dancers). Mister Walker choreography is world famous. ABT is extremely strong in technique and features lots of individual attention. We address foot flexibility enhancing and molding exercises. We excel in exciting choreography that flows beautifully. And as everyone in Tucson knows, Our Dancers Can Really Move!

    This website is officially decommissioned from day-to-day mission critical operations. It is now our archival storage location. We can reactivate it at a moment's notice, should there be a problem with our new carrier's servers. We do like having separate, off site redundancy.
